V4 & Cabal Hook

Base only. V4 launches use Uniswap V4 with Cabal Hook V1 — a custom hook that replaces the traditional pool LP fee with a programmable fee curve designed for fairer launches.

Robinhood Chain does not support V4 deploys in the UI yet.

Why V4?

Uniswap V4 lets pools attach hooks — smart contracts that run logic on every swap. Cabal Hook V1 uses this to:

1. Discourage sniping — higher sell fees right after launch that decay over time

2. Route fees to creators — 50% of hook fees go to the token deployer

3. Reward Obelisk holders — 50% of hook fees reflect to Obelisk NFT holders

The pool itself has a 0% LP fee; all trading fees are collected by the hook.

Cabal Hook V1 fee schedule

Parameters match the on-chain hook (launchDuration = 3600s, launchSellFeePpm = 30000, hookFeePpm = 10000).

Sell fees

During first hour	Decays from 3% → 1% (sqrt curve)
After 1 hour	1% steady

The decay uses the same sqrt formula as the contract: fees start high to penalize immediate dumps, then settle to 1%.

Buy fees

Buy fee is flat at 1% — the anti-snipe mechanics apply to sells only.

Fee routing

Hook fees collected by Cabal Hook V1 are distributed:

Obelisk NFT holders	50% (reflections)

Creators claim their accumulated fees through the Cabal Fee Locker on the token manage page (/profile/manage/[address]).

Current deploy defaults (V4 on Base)

When you select V4 on Base in the deploy wizard, Cabal applies these settings automatically:

Protocol-level hook options (future / advanced)

The Cabal factory and deploy codebase also support additional hook types that are not exposed in the current simplified wizard:

Hook	Description
No hook	Standard V4 pool without custom logic
Auto Buyback & Burn	Configurable hook fee (default 1%)
Slot Machine	Gamified hook with jackpot mechanics (default 2%)
Custom hook	Bring your own hook address + encoded hook data

These may return as advanced options in a future UI update. Today's production path is Cabal Hook V1 only for V4.

The factory supports multiple V4 pool fee tiers when custom deploy paths are used:
